This module provides LMR users from BWH Infectious Disease a composite view of all data elements required to quickly assess a patient's condition and begin treatment.
The upper pane displays a graph of selected group of labs, newest to oldest (left to right). This graph indicates medications active on the associated test date. Click links at the bottom of the graph to view older data.
Results are color coded as either red (if the resulting lab flagged the result as abnormal) or blue (if not). High and low reference ranges are indicated by horizontal lines. To display specific information about any test, hold the cursor over the associated point.
Use option buttons on the right to zoom in or change the center of the graph.
Exception points appear at the bottom of the graph for values that were too low or too high to fit within the window, as well as for tests with non-numeric results or reference ranges.
The Health Profile also includes a flowsheet pane of multiple data types in a grid format. This grid allows you to contrast multiple data types for specific dates (such as lab results vs weight, and medication dose and blood pressure).
For a paper copy of Health Profile information, click Print Preview. The LMR displays the information to be printed. Click Print.
